Thrown, trimmed and glazed by hand.
Onomao works with a small family manufactory in northern Portugal. Every plate is thrown, trimmed and finished by hand — tableware built for daily use, robust and grounded.
The glaze is reactive. It shifts in the kiln, so colour and depth vary gently from one piece to the next — a little pooling at the rim, a quiet change in tone. That variation is the mark of the hand, not a fault.
Fired to stand up to real life: dishwasher- and oven-safe. A rinse, and it's ready for the next meal.
